Ducibella Venter & Santore(DVS) has been involved in the development of risk and threat assessment and the consultation, design, engineering documentation (drawings and specifications), construction supervision and final turn-over implementation for technical and physical security, electronic protection, and countermeasure systems involved in numerous secure facilities throughout the world since 1964.
DVS offices utilize the latest technology for security assessment and documentation creation. Digital image importation, digital voice recognition text creation software, AutoCAD drawing and detail development and metric design experience are augmented with a full complement of electronic mail and centrally archived LAN administered systems. These tools insure rapid and accurate document creation, modification and transmission to appropriate parties. Our offices and our document files are electronically protected. We are also capable of encrypting electronic mail and document exchanges, as required for security purposes.
Recognizing, from its inception, that security encompasses a number of disciplines, the firm purposely maintains a broad spectrum of personnel and professional capabilities in order to ensure the success of risk and threat assessment, security planning and programming, and the production of security engineering drawings, specifications and the construction supervision over the installation of those systems. We also acknowledge, advocate, and provide extensive assistance to the architect and other design team and protection professionals in the selection of architectural security features and building components, penetration/forced entry and bullet resistive criteria, defensible space design and coordination of critical mechanical and electrical support systems to create hardened and threat resistant facilities. DVS has no association with any products, is not related to any sales or manufacturing organization, and maintains a professional position of product evaluation and specification solely on the basis of need for a particular site and client use program.
